Paper Abstract:      In this paper, we report a basic investigation for the development of the contents of a movie to be used for purposes of mobile learning. To be precise, in a mobile learning environment, when the learner looks at the study contents, he/she encounters a problem that differs from those in the current learning environment, rendering him unable to select the study abbreviation freely. Because the learner is distracted by other activities in addition to studying when inside the moving train, his/her concentration is impaired. We investigate the learning strategies that the learner selects when in motion. Moreover, in the course of our study, the learners actually studied the contents in the train environment as well as the room environment, subsequent to which, they filled out questionnaires. Consequently, we find that there is difference with regard to the selection of the learning strategies between the train environment and room environment. Further, the questionnaire indicates that the learners encounter greater noise levels in the train environment than room environment.
