Paper Abstract:      The paper explores knowledge sharing processes in online communities analyzing their explicit and stored messages. Their content is processed using latent semantic analysis techniques, obtaining several indicators related to knowledge sharing activities. A factor analysis is then applied to obtain the main dimensions affecting knowledge sharing. The obtained results provide new insights in the underlying knowledge processes in online communities of practice.
