Paper Abstract:      This paper introduces a research on knowledge management in organizations. The research focused on the process of generation, storage, transmittal and sharing of knowledge in the context of two groups of schools in Lisbon. Is there a connection between both face-to-face interaction/online interaction and knowledge management? – that was the key question. Methodology was based on a «quantitative-correlational» analysis (Almeida & Freire, 2003), and the application of a survey (Carmo & Ferreira, 1998). Main results: evidence shows little use of interaction places (both faceto- face and online), and there were no projects of KM.
