Paper Abstract:      Management of irrigation and fertilization for vegetables are two of the most important aspects of cultivation production. The problem faced by the growers is that they do not have the needed information to minimize run-off without reducing vegetables productivity. Also there is shortage in the number of specialists in this field. Those specialists have different level of expertise. In addition, those of them who are expert still need precise data about the farm to accomplish their work. Therefore building Expert System for agricultural Irrigation, and Fertilization, that is integrated with the Geographical Information System (GIS) will enable expandable and distributed system over many farms. GIS will decrease the need for human deployment in the farms to collect such data. Therefore, GIS will help the expert system in taking accurate-reliable decisions. This approach will lead to a proactive computing model which will help in minimizing the direct interaction between the users and the plants. The proposed system is expected to be economical and productive. The system is expected to make a significant contribution to the improvement of the farms productivity.
