Paper Abstract:
|
HoneyPots or deception systems are new approach to intrusion detection systems. They are resources which are intended to be attacked and compromised to gain more information about the attacker and his attack techniques. The use of intelligent agent architecture in intrusion detection systems is studied in several researches but about deception systems that are new in network security we dont have any acceptable result. We propose a novel approach called HoneyAgent for mid involvement deception system using intelligent agent technology. We explore using of agents in deception system and benefits of this approach. |
