Paper Abstract:      At Miami University, we have been undergoing a process of identifying key recommendations and issues for adopting mobile learning as a way of facilitating a broader discussion within the State of Ohio. Our task has been to devise a set of recommendations and policies that address a future of learning with mobile computing as a major component of how educators facilitate learning. In this paper, we present a number of recommendations that we have been considering that address adoption, technology, and cost concerns. These recommendations are based on a number of observations and reflections that were made after consulting with experts and studying current literature on mobile learning. While we do not view our recommendations and being comprehensive by any means, we do believe that they are a treatment of the major issues and that they form a foundation for opening discussion about adoption within a broader context.
