Paper Abstract:      Modern mobile solutions can be usable and useful for many people in different contexts, for example promoting health and motivation for sport and exercise. This paper presents process of user driven design with aging employees, age over 50, aiming to examine and to develop concepts of mobile solutions and to explore the feasibility of health related mobile solutions for office employees. The underlying idea of the project is to involve the users actively at each phase of the development according to the basic idea of the human-centred design cycle. A prototype was developed and evaluated with the users in a field trial, and the results showed good evidence of usability of the mobile solution among aging employees. The user experiences have been mainly positive; in particular, the mobile solution was considered motivating by participants.
