Paper Abstract:      Individuals who have access to and are users of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tend to benefit from that usage. Even though international migration nowadays is one of the biggest worldwide phenomena, and while integration policies are failing, there is not much research on the influence of ICT usage on immigration issues. Aiming to identify the links between ICT and immigration and to test their importance, author conducted an empirical study presented in this paper. Research shows how ICT addresses the problem of immigration and who is behind web spaces for immigrants. Immigrants are suffering from lack of social networks and lack of social capital, and network technologies can be used to alleviate those problems. In conclusion, author offers some possible solutions for those problems.
