Paper Abstract:      Higher Education internationalization has forced Universities to adopt techniques and concepts from enterprise world, as in such a context Higher Education institutions must compete for the same market or market segments. This paper offers a quantitative way of modeling rivalry at Higher Education in e-learning market, though it can be extended for other markets just by changing the set of parameters used. Rivalry model comprises two dimensions: multimarket contact and resources similarity. This work is part if the AEEVA Project (TIN2005-08788-C04-02) which is subsidized by the Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia of Spanish Government and cofunded by Fondo Social Europeo.
