Paper Abstract:
|
XML, Java and databases in connection with the WWW are becoming more and more important. In this paper we present the XOBE project, which integrates XML, Java and a transparent persistence mechanism into one consistent, type safe database programming language. XOBE programs can communicate over the internet and query and manipulate XOBE databases. XOBE databases can store any XOBE data, including XML objects as well as Java objects. In this paper we give a survey on improving XOBE to become a real database programming language, which integrates type independent persistency and multiple user access. |
