Paper Abstract:

How well do discussion forums perform when viewed on a mobile device? This paper assesses the effectiveness of three
different discussion forums and how well these forums performed when viewed on three different mobile web browsers.
The paper will mainly focus on how the browser influences the interaction with the discussion board. The guiding
questions are: 1. What functionality or typical activities do the browsers support? 2. What features offered by the
different browsers best support the users when viewing a discussion forum on a mobile device? The results of this
analysis will help to identify factors that are critical to the effective use of the discussion board. |
