Paper Abstract:
|
This paper illuminates the problems which developers of e-Learning platforms are facing when trying to optimize their platforms for mobile phones. The characteristics of todays mobile phones and the challenges regarding the user experience, which have to be considered, are described. A design approach is suggested, where an expert team of students, e-Learning software developers and researchers consult upon the development of a prototype. The design decisions which led to the prototype are described and further steps are discussed. |
