Paper Abstract:      Due to increasing focus on usability and user experience (UX) design, with a focus towards medical devices, this paper reports on the experiences of teaching developers to do UX work in an agile software development environment. The taught method is a focused workshop. The case study is not yet finalised, but the current results indicates that the developers support the idea of making some of the UX work themselves, they feel more secure and confident in the method after having been note takers in such a session and that both planning, conducting and analysing the workshop can be done during one development sprint.
