Paper Abstract:      This is the second part of a broader study about eCommerce activity in Greece. A number of Greek companies’ web sites, all in the ASE (Athens Stock Exchange) from different sectors of the economy and different sizes were evaluated. The sites proved to meet the general standards related to user interface design, but failed when more advanced issues, namely customization, globalization, security and privacy were considered. The lack of adequate financial investment – discussed in the first part - led to the production of attractive but not effective eCommerce solutions, which is most likely the reason behind the failure of the Greek eCommerce market to grow to measurable levels.
