Paper Abstract:      Hybridity is becoming a more and more demanded aspect of university degrees. Students expect to be able to choose between on campus courses and on line courses, they even expect to be able to move from one format to the other depending on their needs or wishes. In this sense, since academic year 2010-2011, our university offers some of the traditional on campus undergraduate and graduate programs also in an on line format. Virtual subjects were designed according to an eclectic pedagogical model, developed by Universidad Europea de Madrid. This pedagogical model was evaluated collecting data from online students (through questionnaires and interviews) and from lecturers (through interviews) in a number of equivalent credit weight subjects (6 ECTS) delivered during the second and third term in academic year 2010-2011. The purpose of this paper is to show the first results of the quantitative analysis, mainly focusing on the determination of those elements from our pedagogical model that will contribute to the achievement of learning results and student motivation, as well as to the best adjustment of credit and student workload. Moreover, it has been done a comparison between online and campus-based subjects in some variables.
