Paper Abstract:      Although it is crucial to take applied classes during the engineering or technical education, it is not always possible to give a long slot to students due to technical restrictions or number of students etc. In addition, students can’t make practice outside the labs without required equipment and technical knowledge. Here we developed a web based virtual applied classes for material science course and evaluate the usability of e-learning tools. The usability analysis showed that interactivity as a main problem. Also the usability score ranged from 82 to 100, with a median of 86. As a conclusion web based applied courses in engineering school may improve the learning level but it is important to create more interactive and customizable e-learning tools.
