Paper Abstract:
|
One purpose of the Top Level Visualization Ontology is to provide a common vocabulary to describe visualization data, processes, and products. However, there are two aspect where its expressiveness is poor: the models of the visualization process and the data used on it. The aim of this paper is to describe some modifications of this ontology which lead to a better representation of the visualization process and data models, and facilitate the accommodation of new models. A detailed description of the new ontologys components is given. |
