Paper Abstract:      The national eConsultancy Service for social workers and other professionals in the social and welfare sector in Finland has been created in order to offer support and answers for complicated cases in social work throughout the country. eConsultancy has turned out to be an effective and flexible way to support the work of social work professionals in the Internet. eConsultancy offers a national channel for distribution of knowledge for social workers who use the service and the consults who work in consulting groups in the web. The service is also for public good as the questions and answers that are created in the eConsultancy are published in a data base.
