Paper Abstract:

A number of researchers from vendors, operators to service providers attempt to assess the exploitation opportunities of wireless local area network (WLAN)/ broadband wireless access (BWA) in Asia Pacific region. A clear definition allows players in the industry to focus on the most crucial part of their businesses and prevent them from repeating the costly mistakes of the recent past by entering and subsequently exiting, non-core businesses and markets. This study seeks to address the current state of WLAN/ BWA in Asia Pacific region including market size, user segments, market forecast and so forth.
