Paper Abstract:      The excessive use of technology isn’t a guarantee for the construction of successful e-Learning systems. Many pedagogical and technical problems must be addressed depending on the dynamic context of learning. We adopted an approach based on models to deal with these issues. The models are artifacts that can be used at the analysis, design and implementation stages. To analyze and design the e-Learning situations we chose activity theory as a theoretical background, it provides us a powerful framework that can support our work. We have also chosen to address each e- Learning sequence as an adaptive and situated workflow.
