Paper Abstract:

From the second half of 1900s, global competition, the development in the world economy and improving technology forced to firms to make a change and to improve the technology. Especially within the last decade a great transformation on information technology was performed and constitute the infrastructure of a great economy. The known trade style is going on, even at home or from office you can go shopping without going out at all. A new economy called e-commerce although it gets many factors from IT, it gets the most gain from internet [Hamzaçebi, 2003]. The technology of web was developed at this period and gave an opportunity to even small enterprises as a new occupation. For that reason, it will be given concerning new economy and e-commerce in generally, second, explain the effects of e-commerce on developing countries from the point of view of social and economical life. Finally, it will be assessed the latest state of e-commerce in Turkey. |
