Paper Abstract:      Lives of the MS-patients can be lonesome and therefore we present in this paper a web-based virtual community for MSpatients with professional-, and peer support by meaning of promoting independent physical and mental practicing as part of occupational therapy. The virtual community called Activator is built on actual user and organisational needs and was tested by two different pilot groups consist of actual MS-patients. MS-disease cause variable symptoms and it made them a challenging target group, the results although, shows that the developed Activator fills every one of the major goals and the users in the pilot groups seems to like the idea and the current implementation satisfied the management personals too.
