Paper Abstract:
|
The best way to learn the culture, history and geographic features of a city is to live there for a period of time. However, due to the limited budget or time as well as safety concerns, it is not easy for students to visit a foreign city in this way. This paper introduced a mission-oriented virtual tour guide system developed for students to discover a foreign city without physically visiting it. The virtual tour guide system not only provides students with the introduction of a target city, but also checks how much students learned about the city by using quizzes. By using this virtually tour guide system, students are expected to know the place they visit more deeply. |
