Paper Abstract:
|
Niigata University started work on the development of our Niigata University Bachelor Assessment System (NBAS). This system posits four types of ability/attitude as learning outcomes: knowledge and understanding, domain-specific skills, generic skills, and attitude. Students' attainment levels in terms of these learning outcomes are shown on a radar chart so that they can be visualized. On the basis of these radar chart displays, visualized for each semester, and Personal development record stored in e-portfolios, students, mentored by teachers, carry out process assessment and design a learning plan for the following semester. |
