Paper Abstract:      The aim of this survey paper is to demonstrate that the e-government research domain has been predominantly absorbed by investigating the ‘supply’ side of e-government focusing on the challenges and opportunities that face governments when providing online electronic services. Compared to the relatively large number of studies that looked at the ‘supply’ side of e-government, studies investigating the ‘demand’ for e-government services are scant. In addition, these limited studies lack consensus on what are the factors that influence end users adoption of online government services. Therefore, we call e-government researchers to develop a holistic e-government adoption model that aim at developing a better understanding of the factors that influence the uptake of government online services to ensure the success of e-government initiatives.
