Paper Abstract:
|
In the paper the proposal of automation of the defect management workflow from software development process is presented. The paper is focused on the general characteristics of process improvement and on comparison of both the traditional and the proposed approach. The clue of the concept is the transition of defect management information form separate data bases to the product itself - more precisely to the repository of version control server. The new concept presented in the paper can be supported by tools, so it has also practical value. This paper is addressed both to software development company staff especially to business managers, project managers, process engineers as well as to tool vendors and consulting companies. |
