Paper Abstract:
|
The widespread use of smart phone and many practical evidences of effective IT solutions in healthcare delivery offers a new hope for the prevalence of m-health (mobile health) approaches. In this study, we designed a system that allows customers to make an appointment, track their vital signs in real time and receive news, notifications, examination results and distance medical advice from the hospital using their smart mobile devices. A system consists of two main components: (1) a hybrid mobile APP for smartphones and tablets running on some popular platforms such as Android, IOS, Windows OS etc.. and used by patients, (2) an interactive web application based on modern web frameworks such as Laravel, Angularjs and Nodejs and used by hospital staffs. Currently the system is launched at Lin-Shin hospital and showing its advantages in building up relationship management and narrowing down the distance between customers and hospital. |
