Paper Abstract:      Managing software development risks at early project stage is essential to achieve beneficial project outcomes. However there is still a lack of structure and guidance on how to integrate risk management activities at early development stage. Our paper focuses on concurrent view modeling for software risk management explicitly integrated at early development stage. The approach is a governance framework that effectively identifies and models the goals and risk factors from technical and non-technical software development components. The proposed framework is empirically evaluated using a case study implemented into an on-going software development project. The results showed that a concurrent view goal-driven modeling alleviates risk management activities and early risk management practice is effective for controlling risks and project success.
