Paper Abstract:
|
The main purpose of this study was to assess the level of practice of quality management implementation in IS/IT
departments in the Saudi Arabian private organizations. The participating organizations were 51 ISO9000:2000 certified
organizations from different business sectors in Saudi Arabia. The analysis of the survey data concluded that quality
management implementation in those organizations were a long way behind those of Western organizations. The results
suggested that there were lack of process management, measurement, and continuous improvement practices in IS/IT
departments in Saudi Arabian private organizations. |
