Paper Abstract:      Considering the causes of failures in project management, this paper aims to apply lessons learned techniques seeking to provide the efficiency and effectiveness of the results in the software development and management. For this, techniques have been developed during the project based on Knowledge Management, Knowledge Engineering and Maturity Models. Still in this article will be specified the applicability of these fundamentals in managing software projects, taking into account the lack of management problems in the knowledge management process focusing on the difficulties encountered by companies in the dissemination of knowledge.
