Paper Abstract:      WSNs have gained much attention in both industry and research communities because they are expected to bring the interaction between humans, environment, and machines to a new level. Due to the differences between Wireless Sensor Networks and other wireless networks, new network architectures have been developed and many new routing protocols have been proposed for these architectures. Solving routing problems in WSNs using smart algorithms is an active research area and this paper tries to bring up a new swarm algorithm. Using AI techniques in this environment is a promising task which can be challenging at the same time. In this paper, we make an incremental version of Ant Colony Optimization (IACO) so that it can keep some of the important solutions found in its lifetime and test if such a strategy can be beneficial in problems for which ACO is used in WSNs. The simulation result shows that the performance of IACO is better than the other widely used algorithms: PEGASIS, LEACH, AntNet, which used in routing on WSNs.
