Paper Abstract:
|
The focus of this paper is the application of techniques for Social Network Analysis as a tool to trace the profile of students. A hypothetical case was applied on a group of students who was participating in a virtual social network (Twitter). Following, metrics from Social Network Analysis (SNA) Theory was demonstrated: in-degree centrality, out-degree centrality and betweenness centrality. The result obtained was compared by the teacher with the students who attend the classroom, helping to define the interaction profile of each student and enabling the realization of a effort to encourages group collaboration. |
