Paper Abstract:      An objective of Human Computer Interfaces (HCI) is to provide people better ways to interact with computers, mainly in real approaches. This work introduces a Negotiation Support System (NSS) and its correlation with useful interfaces to improve agreements. In this context, negotiation simulations were carried out with IT and non IT people, in different scenarios. During the deals, there was a group of people using a NSS and other group that did not use this instrument. The paper aims at presenting the results of this experiment, comparing the use of HCI in negotiation approaches. Through a case study, it was possible to show that the effective use of HCI creates better atmosphere to negotiate once the negotiator has mechanisms to improve the preparation step, therefore, who is using a NSS may reach better agreements. The article also shows the background review, the approach scenario and the NSS used during the experiments.
