Paper Abstract:      One of the goals in the design of B2B E-commerce systems is to connect trading partners electronically through automatic message exchanges, containing business data in order to conduct business, without any human interventions. Poor interoperability and weak integration between internal and external operations in Business-to-Business (B2B) E-commerce systems are two obstacles identified in the effort to reduce manual human interventions. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of an XML/XSL-based business-to-business application, known as the Electronic Product Ordering E-Commerce System (EPOECS), that addresses these two obstacles. The application has been implemented and deployed, in conjunction with a database and XML/XSL technologies, to improve the efficiency of the E-commerce system.
