Paper Abstract:
|
The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in order to enable learners to get accreditation and recognition for the different forms of informal learning that takes place is a challenging scenario. This paper proposes a setup whereby the learner not only is able to get a formal type of accreditation within a recognized institution but it is able to provide a series of connections whereby the learner can see where the knowledge that he/she has chosen would be leading to. Alternatively, the learner may depart from a series of skills/knowledge that he/she requires and the proposed system will provide leads to web-based knowledge repositories that may enable the learner to embark on a learning process. |
