Paper Abstract:
|
This paper considers an inbound problem of the steel plate yard in shipbuilding. Unlike the traditional inbound problem, in which items are ready in the beginning, in this problem, plates should be pre-processed before entering the yard. During the pre-process, relocation is allowed to rearrange the plates' location in the yard. The objective of this problem is to seek an operation sequence with inbound and relocation moves such that the outbound relocation is minimized. We develop an ant colony optimization algorithm to solve the instances in actual size. Finally, the performance of the proposed method is evaluated in some actual cases. |
