Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper, we propose adaptation of fragment-based web pages as a means of overload control for dynamic web sites serviced by edge servers. We describe a fragment-based delivery system for dynamic content. We present an overview of our adaptation architecture. We also discuss various adaptation techniques that can be applied to fragments. Given the pre-established service requirements between the service provider and the content provider, we derive the conditions for adaptation. We briefly discuss how these conditions can be used in finding an adaptation strategy. |
