Paper Abstract:      The web accessibility is essential for broad citizens’ access to public information and services provided by government on the Internet. However, people with disabilities often encounter barriers due to lack of conformity of websites with accessibility guidelines. Moreover, only the conformity with accessibility guidelines do not ensures usability. So, as part of an investigation over the relationship between accessibility and usability of websites for people with visual impairments, this paper presents the current stage of usability evaluation of a Brazilian e-government website for people with visual disability.
