Paper Abstract:      Computer Aided Assessment (CAA) tools are more and more widely adopted in academic environments mixed to other assessment means. In this context, there is an increasing demand for a better assessment material. It would be quite an interesting feature for a CAA tool to tell the tutor how her/his questions are effective in judging the learners. In this paper we show how eWorkbook, a CAA system, developed at Dipartimento di Matematica e Informatica of University of Salerno, supports such a feature. We chose to mix the statistical indexes given by the Item Analysis to the opinion of the learners, both of them available after one or more test sessions. This information is a good feedback for the tutor, useful to modify her/his assessment material, improving it. Every time a question is modified, a newer and, hopefully, better version of it is generated and the question’s lifecycle continues.
