Paper Abstract:      This paper presents the bases of a unified knowledge representation to improve the design of KDD software systems. This work aimed to group together the several research works on knowledge integration for the KDD in a homogeneous model. To reach this objective, the proposed model is based on an object oriented approach which offers an easy and rational integration of various knowledge types. At last, this model proposes to handle the relevant entities of the KDD: the data, the information, static knowledge and methodological knowledge (scenario).
