Paper Abstract:      One of the important characteristics to consider in the construction of multimedia educational material is interactivity. The objective of this case study was to verify the influence of multimedia interactivity on the performance of Primary Education students, within a controlled environment, using questions from the Portuguese Language section taken from Prova Brasil (Brazil’s basic education evaluation test) as support. These tasks were presented to two groups of fifth year students, with one group given access to activities implemented in software with different interactivity resources and a second group developed the same activity in a simple environment, without the support of multimedia resources. As a result, this research demonstrates the performance of each group of students, relating them to the levels of interactivity provided and demonstrating its influence on the number of correct and incorrect items in the activities.
