The Travel Recommendation Systems (TRS) have emerged as essential tools in helping users plan personalized trips by filtering through vast amounts of information. These systems leverage various data sources and algorithms to suggest destinations, itineraries, accommodations, and activities tailored to user preferences and business satisfaction. This paper presents a comprehensive review of current approaches in Travel Recommendation System, classifies them based on methodologies. It also highlights the challenges associated with the system and the recent advancement in deep learning, social media integration, offering insights into promising future research directions. |
