Paper Abstract:      Uncertainty is an inherent part in controllers used for real-world application. This paper proposes a new fuzzy motion adaptive video deinterlacing which focuses on recently advanced type-2 fuzzy models and its application of type-2 fuzzy sets in video deinterlacing. In the proposed method, the upper and lower fuzzy membership functions of type-2 fuzzy logic filters are derived from the primary fuzzy membership function. The weights from all membership functions are considered to be multiplied with the pre-calculated candidate deinterlaced pixels.
