Paper Abstract:
|
Although the Austrian Procedure Catalogue is the foundation of procedure coding within the framework of performance-oriented hospital financing in Austria, it has some weaknesses. The aim of this study is to develop and present a new content model. For this purpose, the content model of the characteristics of medical services and the relationships between them is represented by a UML class diagram. It forms the basis for the implementation of an ontology for procedure coding in Austria. |
