Paper Abstract:      This research presents a collaborative framework for carrying out report tasks in group in experimental distance education settings. Proposed task consists of the joint accomplishment of a report task. An individual workspace and another shared one are provided to students, between which they can interchange objects with simple operations, facilitating the construction of new results by composition of others. A model of collaboration based on argumentative discussion allows structuring the interactions of the students and their contributions to the common result. This model includes not only the collaborative editing task, but also it includes other actors (teacher, tutor, marker) and related tasks. All actions are registered, regrouped automatically in units of contribution, and represented of form structured in terms of the conversational model, so that the process of collaboration can be analyzed. The designed tool uses open standards and is, for this reason, easily configurable and integrable in others interactive environments.
