Paper Abstract:      This paper presents a PEST analysis of Oman in order to assess the readiness of the country for the adoption of CRM by its business organisations. Following a critical literature review process, using the funnelled approach, the research findings presented here relied on surveying secondary and tertiary sources. The paper analyses political, economic, social and technological factors that may have an impact in the implementation of CRM and its use by the Omani society. Finally, the paper concludes that Oman, as a complex developing country with specific needs, problems and opportunities, is certainly ready for the adoption of ICT management solutions, such as CRM
