Paper Abstract:      Three e-learning packages (Movement Analysis, Manual Therapy and Stroke) were developed and evaluated to assist health science students in their self-study. Video and audio technology were integrated with self-assessment questions and used in different ways to address various learning needs. A questionnaire was used to elicit students’ views regarding the features of each package and the effect the packages had on their learning. Comparisons were made between students in different course groups for each package. Students exhibited generally positive attitudes towards the features of all three packages. Significant differences were found between one group of MSc (pre-registration) Physiotherapy students and other groups of students regarding their opinions of some features of the packages. Students identified selfassessment, reinforcement, clinical relevance and the video clips as package features important in contributing to their learning. Comparison between packages revealed a preference for the design format of the Stroke package.
