Paper Abstract:
|
The purpose of this study is to discover relationships between important factors that promote knowledge sharing among SNS (Social Network Service) users, by looking into important characteristics of SNS. SNS receives huge attention as a tool to share information of social learning, and invigorate knowledge sharing within an organization; however, there have been few related studies. Users form a relationship network and communicate with those who have similar interests, through SNS. Through information from previous studies, this study assumed relationships between factors, how communication and social capital affect knowledge sharing. The social participation factor acts as parameter, which is unique characteristic of SNS. To verify this, the MANOVA, ANOVA, and ANCOVA methodologies were used. As a result of this research, it was analyzed that the level of communication that affects knowledge sharing depends on the type of social capital. This study expects to provide suggestions to organizations that aim for effective knowledge management by implementing SNS |
