Paper Abstract:      Nowadays the number of mobile apps grows faster and faster. A good framework to assess the design for wheelchair accessible mobile apps is needed. This work uses three methods: design-based review, usability test and analytic hierarchy process to understand user requirements, performance of mobile apps and elements of user experience. An existing mobile app-Visitors' Guide was introduced and we have conducted a survey to learn user requirements on content and functions of a wanted wheelchair accessible mobile app. Reasons why users use this kind of apps and existing problems are also investigated. For usability test, Visitors’ Guide is used to collect feedbacks of user experience design. During the test, users performed operations on using the Visitors’ Guide and concluded it is not easy to use. Finally, testers were asked to assess every element of user experience. There are divide 21 elements into 5 parts: visual design, content, functionality, usability and social. It is found out that performance and content are the two most significant criteria in user experience design.
