Paper Abstract:      This paper describes an innovative platform that integrates mobile technologies into teaching and learning, in particular the teacher-student interactions within a classroom. This system, called Pervasive Learning Environment (PALe), exploits the use of multiple mobile devices such as personal digital assistance, mobile phones and wireless notebooks to provide anytime and anywhere teaching and learning services. Functions such as Q&A, polling and class attendance allow teachers and students additional choices in classroom interactions. Evaluation from questionnaire survey shows that students are receptive to the system. Benefit include quicker feedbacks are obtained during classes as a result of the computer-assisted interactions. This integration of technologies can be applied to raise education quality.
